夜明け前より瑠璃色な -Crescent Love- (Brighter than dawning blue -Crescent Love-)

A long time ago, the Moon and the Earth were at war, which ended with both sides incurring heavy losses. Afterwards, a temporary truce was formed, but relations between both sides are weak, and one wrong move can drive both sides to war again...

Asagiri Tatsuya lives with his sister Mai, and their guardian sister, Hozumi Sayaka, after Tatsuya's mother passed away, and their father went missing. Life is rather normal for Tatsuya, until Sayaka tells him that Feena Fam Earthlight, the princess from the Moon, is going to stay at their house...

Brighter than dawning blue -Crescent Love- is adapted from the PC hentai game 夜明け前より瑠璃色な, released by August Soft back in September 2005. The game was cleaned and ported to the PS2 by Aria Soft and released in December 2006. The anime series is broadcasted from October 2006 to December 2006.

The story was modified slightly from the game version for the anime. For example, Sayaka got a job change, and new characters are created for more comedy relief. Overall, it does make the first half of the story enjoyable. I wanted to give it full marks, but it loses points for the rather low quality animations... of course, the second half of the story is full of action, and the ending is done pretty good. Overall, a very nice love story!
