蒼い海のトリスティア (Tristia of the Deep Blue Sea)

Nanoca Flanka is a well-known genius inventor girl, working hard in her atelier in order to revitalize the town of Tristia. One day her archrival, Panavia Tornado (or so Panavia thought...), suddenly arrives at the town and challenges Nanoka to compete against her in the upcoming mechanical golem tournament...

Based on the PC game of the same name, a 2-episodes OVA was released in 2004. There are a total of 5 PC games released by 工画堂 (Kogado). The newest game, 蒼い空のネオスフィア どきどきアドベンチャー EffectiveE is slated to release on Dec. 16, 2005, featuring Panavia Tornado from the OVA for the first time.

Interesting short series based on a interesting game. Lots of comedy and action (gundam-lookalike golem action!) Nanoca, maybe good, but her inventions can also go "ca-boom!", and that's funny too...

Nice character design, and some fanservice involve. Overall, a good watch to kill time.
