しにがみのバラッド。 (Shinigami no Ballad)

Whenever a person hears the sound of a bell, and sees a beautiful, white hair girl, they know their time is up... for she is Momo, the god of death, license number 100100. Carrying the trademark scythe, and accompanied by Daniel the demon cat, Momo seeks out those whose time is up, and help others to rediscover the meaning of life along the way...

Shinigami no Ballad was based on the novels by ハセガワケイスケ (Hasegawa Keisuke). A total of 9 novels were released by Dengeki as of December 2006. The anime adaptation was first broadcasted in March 2006, for a total of 6 episdoes.

Interesting series. While each episode is unrelated (except epiaodes 1 and 5), the stories are nice and heartwarming. All of them also involves young kids too. Ah, youth...

The OP is performed in English, and I am considering to buy the single CD. It has a nice melody...
