まもって守護月天！ (Mamotte Shugogetten!)
Shichiri Tasuke lives on his own, while his parents and sister travel around the world searching for new adventures. One day Tasuke recieves a gift from his traveling father in China: a ring called the Shinterin. To Tasuke's surprise, a girl emerges from the Shinterin: Shaorin, the spirit of the moon who becomes Tasuke's guardian angel...
Mamotte Shugogetten!, based on the manga of sma title, first broadcasted from 1998 to 1999 as a 22-episode TV series, and a 8-episode OVA sequel, 伝心 まもって守護月天！ (Denshin Mamotte Shugogetten!) was released in 2000 and 2001.

If I were 15 years younger, I think I will enjoy it even more... that being said, it is a decent show, with lots of messing around with our Sharoin and her rival spirit Ruuan, much to the dismay of Tasuke. Throw in a bunch of love rivals and we have a dial-down harem show...
Animation quality is rather poor, making the experience even worse... still I had seen worse.

While Ruuan continues to keep Tasuke to herself, Shaorin and Tasuke now find themselves searching for their feelings for each other. As Shaorin struggles to understand her feelings towards Tasuke, and Tasuke tries to come up with the courage to confess his love to Shaorin. To make things better (or worse...), Tasuke's Dad sends in another "spirit" to serve Tasuke, but this spirit, Kiryuu, only gives out "trials" to her master...
The first 5 episodes are, in my opinion, the worst OVA production ever. The OP animation is so horrible it nearly made me cry. The plot is so repetitive at first that it nearly make me want to stop watching. Only the last 3 epsidoes, with a slightly better OP and better focus on the story (more to the style the original TV series used) saved it from my final condamnation...
