Chitose Hitotose has just transferred to a new school, and for the first time, he is moving away from the orphenage, and into his old house. Just when he thought he will finally be having a blast living on his own home, 5 female teachers from his shcool decided to become his "moms", and move in to live together with him! Having 5 loving, caring moms living with you, everyday is a lesson...
Happy ★ Lesson was based on a Dreamcast game of the same title released in 2001, and a short manga series based on the game was released in 2003. A total of 2 TV series and 2 OVAs are produced.
Note: If you haven't noticed already, all female characters have their family name in numbers... Also, our male character has a different name in manga...

5 episodes OVA, released in 2001 to 2003.
Now a puzzling fact fist: there are 5 episodes, yet ADV Films only managed to release the first 3 episodes. what happen to the other 2? I have no idea.
I kinda like it, but it can be quite hard for first time viewer to understand. I would suggest watching the TV series first.

Actually I was kinda disappointed by the show, could be done better. Then again, it is still ok with all the usual craziness.
Note: This is only available on Fan subs for now. Episode 9 is a complete rebroadcast of an episode from the first TV series, where the family got a free trip to a hotspring...
