D.C. ~ダ・カーポ~ (D.C. ~Da Capo~)

Asakura Junichi lives with his "adopted" sister Nemu in the crescent-shaped island of Hatsune Jima, a place where cherry blossoms bloom throughout the year. One day, Junichi's cousin and childhood friend, Sakura Yoshino came back from America all of a sudden. To Junichi's surprise, she looks exactly the same as the time she moved away six years ago, and hasn't aged one bit. She came back to have Junichi to fullfill their childhood promise...

D.C. ~Da Capo~ is based on the same hentai dating-sim game first released in 2002 by Circus. An extension to the first game, D.C.P.C. (Plus Communication), was released 2004, with new characters. It is based on the PS2 release, D.C.P.S.

There are 2 "side stories" games based on the franchise, known as D.C. White Season and D.C. Summer Vacation, all hentai version. A new installment to the franchise, D.C. ~Da Capo~ II is released in May 2006, and will feature brand new characters, and yes, it is a hentai game.

Two "suitable for all ages" version were released for PS2 by Circus. the first one, D.C.P.S. (Plus Situation) is based on D.C.P.C. (the extension hentai version), and a new one, D.C.F.S. (Four Seasons) is still in development at this time.

Numerous manga version were created based on the characters. More information can be found here.

As for the anime version, it was released in 2003. Based on the first hentai version, with a completely new CV casts (it is non-hentai, so they need some real CV). The sequel, D.C.S.S. (Da Capo Second Season), is released in 2005 and currently on air in Japan.

Note: D.C.S.S. combines the elements of the D.C. Da Capo sequel manga, D.C.S.G. (Second Graduation), with additional new characters from the D.C.P.S. PS2 game.

Da Capo (2003)
26 episodes TV series

I have mixed feeling for this series. First of all, it is not too bad, but the story can get better though. Focusing on the love relationships between our guy Asakura Junichi and all the girls surrounding him, including a "catgirl", the cousin and worst of all, his sister, even though not blood-related. Not to mention one of the girls is body-switched with a replica robot... and we have not even start talking about the magic yet...

During the later part of the series, the main episodes became shorter, and "side stories" are added, which can be quite confusing, as each "side story" are not really related, but they are...

D.C.S.S. (2005)
26 episodes TV series

Two years have passed since the Sakura Tree incident, and Hatsune Jima, once known for its unusual year-round sakura blossoms, now left with normal sakura trees. During the last tow years, Asakura Junichi has been living alone, ever since Nemu decided to go to nursing school aboard. Good for Junichi that he has the "support team" - his friends, to look after him. One day, Aisia, a mysterious girl for Europe, came to Junichi's house. Looking for Sakura's grandmother to continue her training in magic, she ended up staying with Junichi, mistaking him as a powerful wizard...

Well, they made the sequel, and I actually enjoy this more than the first one. Not only the animation is much better, the story gets better too. At least it does not feel awkward to watch along the way. The only noticable difference is Junichi's hair colour. There are 3 characters that are originally introduced from the D.C.P.S. game: Tamaki, Nanako and Alice. Even if you watched the first one, you will have no idea who they are unless you grab some info from the PS2 game first.

By the way, the ending more or less means there will be no more sequels. Of course we may never know if they are going to make D.C. ~Da Capo~ II into anime in the future... which is highly likely.
